SimplySilk® membrane is a Class III medical device developed under patented technology. Its triangular geometry is optimized for orbital reconstruction, restoring the anatomy of the orbital floor and walls as a fully bioabsorbable alternative to conventional films. High biocompatibility and tailored mechanical properties create optimal healing conditions for the surrounding tissue. Permeable to gases and nutrients, and facilitating cell migration, the membrane supports tissue regeneration while it resorbs, with no removal surgery required. It is easy to cut and adapt to the defect, ensuring precise fit and contour adaptation. Magnesium-reinforced variants add shape stability, allowing the implant to hold the restored geometry of the orbital defect.
